Senior Accountant

This role works in a multinational environment and manages accurate day to day accounting operations and compliance with accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting and financial operations. Key responsibilities will include:

• General Accounting: Managing accounting entries, account reconciliation, and preparing monthly and annual closings.
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax and social security declarations while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Producing financial statements, including balance sheets, and income statements.
• Process Supervision and Improvement: Implementing and optimizing accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow, analyzing variances, and forecasting liquidity needs.
• Team Supervision: Leading and mentoring junior accountants or finance team members.

Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in similar role, preferably in fast-paced environment as IT industry.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Hands-on approach with high result-focus and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards and regulations.
• Fluency in English, French is a strong advantage
